Drafted in the 16th round out of Notre Dame in 1968, Rocky is well known for his Fighting Back story which details his military service during the Vietnam War (awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart) and his NFL career. Rocky played on all four Super Bowl teams during the 70’s.
Mel is a former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, five-time Pro Bowler and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. He is considered one of the best cornerbacks to have ever played in the NFL. Blount, who was named the NFL's most valuable defensive player in 1975 by the Associated Press, earned All-Pro acclaim in 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1981.
Chris signed on with the Steelers in October of 2015, he was undrafted out of Rice University in 2014. With 358 career points, he is second on the all-time Rice scoring list. Even though he was not on the Steelers roster the entire year, he still managed to set a franchise record for most field goals made by a rookie. AKA: The Wizard of Boz.
Robin made his way to the NFL after being drafted in the first round by the Steelers in 1977 from the University of New Mexico. Playing linebacker he was part of the teams that won Super Bowl XIII and XIV, having the latter game in his home state added to his enjoyment of the victory. Robin was also voted to the 1984 Pro Bowl and was an All-Pro the same year.
This legendary NFL Hall of Fame member (2012 class) was drafted in the 2nd round in 1988 from the University of Kentucky. He was named to 7 straight Pro Bowls, was an All-Pro 6 times and named to the 1990’s NFL All-Decade Team. He anchored the offensive line in Super Bowl XXX.
Jeff joined the Steelers in 2001, where he was selected in the 1st round in the 1996 NFL draft out of Penn State. At PSU Jeff was a first-team All American (1994 and 1995). He was selected to 2 Pro Bowls and named to 2 All-Pro teams. Jeff was the offensive line center for the Super Bowl XL champions.
Signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent after the 2001 NFL Draft out of BYU. Chris spent his entire eleven-year career with Pittsburgh as a defensive lineman, and was a member of the Super Bowl XL and XLIII teams. Chris is currently a professional speaker and sports analyst for KDKA.
Offensive lineman No. 62 was selected in the 6th round from Indiana State in 1980. Tunch earned two Pro Bowl selections during his time with the Steelers. He became the Steelers’ player representative to the NFLPA in 1986. In 1998, he joined the official Steelers broadcasting team of Myron Cope and Bill Hillgrove as an analyst, today he and Bill are still calling the games.
Mike came to the Steelers in 2001 after playing 4 seasons in Jacksonville, he was drafted in 1997 in the 2nd round out of West Virginia. He was a member of the victorious Super Bowl XL team. He grew up in McKeesport and still resides in the Pittsburgh area.
Willie played 6 years in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He won 2 Super Bowls (XL and XLIII) and was elected to the Pro Bowl twice (2006 and 2007).
The Indiana University graduate was selected in the 2nd round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Steelers. In November 2012 Randle El was inducted into the Indiana athletic hall of fame. This 2005 first team All-Pro is famously known for being the only wide receiver to throw a TD pass in a Super Bowl (XL).
Donnie went on to play safety for the Steelers and was a member of the team when it won Super Bowls IX, X, XIII and XIV. He added 5 Pro Bowl selection and 3 first team All-Pro honors to his legendary resume. Donnie started eleven straight years for the Steelers.
A 1973 graduate from Florida State, JT was drafted in the 1st round by the Steelers. He was a defensive back for the IX, X, XII, and XIV Super Bowl teams. Picked up in the 4th round of the 2013 NFL draft out of Syracuse University, Shamarko won the 2011 Syracuse Defensive Player of the Year award. He also was a first-team All-Big East in 2012. Shamarko was mentored by Troy Polamalu upon his arrival in Pittsburgh.
Offensive lineman Wolfley was drafted in the 5th round in 1980 out of Syracuse University. In 1999, Wolfley was named to the Syracuse University Football All Century team. Craig servers as the sideline reporter on Steeler game broadcasts. In addition to football, Wolfley placed fifth in the World’s Strongest Man competition in 1981.
